Description
Family Care Centers is a small unique organization looking for Per Diem Nurse Practitioners for our Urgent Care. We make customer service and patient care a priority while also being provider friendly. There are three Urgent Care locations in central Orange County, treating patients of all ages.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with at least 3 years of experience in Emergency Room or Urgent Care. Desired qualifications include 3-5 years of experience in Emergency Room as a Registered Nurse.
Our Urgent Care offices are open Monday through Friday 8am-8pm and weekends/holidays 8am-5pm.
Per Diem requirements are to be available for 2 shifts each month, with one of those days being a weekend shift.
Due to a greater need for weekend coverage, we offer a shift differential for any additional weekend worked after the Per Diem requirement.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidates will possess:
previous 3-5 years' experience in ER as an RN
minimum 3 years' experience as an NP in ER or Urgent Care
Ability and willingness to work 2 shifts each month, weekends and partial shifts
Experience in seeing ALL age groups
Experience in treating a variety of illness and conditions
Experience in performing a variety of minor procedures needed
Splinting, Suturing, Slit Lamp
Excellent Customer Service skills
Worker's Compensation experience
Good understanding of medical coding
EMR experience preferred
